Inspired by the puppy room at the University Library, there is now also a robot dog cuddling session in the Intelligent Robotics Lab, especially for Artificial Intelligence students. Release your stress in the exam period by playing with our Aibo robot dog Shakey.
The news was picked up our university press, which accompanied their post with the latest version of the Aibo. The latest Aibo is still on the wish-list of the laboratory. Instead, our robot dog Shakey is a veteran from the Dutch Aibo Team, which played between 2004 and 2006:
Still, in AiboMind mode Shakey loves to be cuddled, which is interfaced to the humans with happy sounds and green colored leds.
