Jelle Brandt Costius asked the Intelligent Robotics Lab what the possibilities were to let a robot travel with him abroad. The hitchBOT traveled alone last year, but that turned out not to be save. With an experienced traveler as Jelle Brandt Corstius it should be OK.

At the end of the month, the European RoboCup teams will visit the Netherlands, to compete for the European Open cup. There will be competitions in the RoboCup @Home League and three RoboCup Soccer Leagues: The Dutch Nao Team will be participating in the Standard Platform League.

The Dutch Nao Team is one of the 16 teams worldwide that has been qualified for the indoor competition in RoboCup Soccer – Standard Platform League.

The Dutch Nao Team is invited to give a demonstration at the Asia’s Largest Science and Technology Festival: TechFest in Mumbai, India.
