20 years of Aldebaran
The company Aldebaran was founded in 2005 by Bruno Maisonnier. From the beginnging they supported RoboCup competition in the Soccer and @Home league with their Nao and Pepper robots. Both robots can still be found in the Intelligent Robotics Lab. Unfortunatelly, their story has now come to an end. This is their farewell message:

Embedding in LAB42

ROS 2 interface for the UMI-RTX arm

The Dutch Nao Team at the RoboCup 2023
The Dutch Nao Team participated in the World Championship of the RoboCup Standard Platform League with a team of 18 students. Using Neural Factorization of Shape and Reflectance for Ball Detection
At the RoboCup Symposium 2023 in Bordeaux, the Dutch Nao Team will present a poster on how synthetic data can improve the precision of the ball detection under difficult lighting conditions. Dutch Nao Team at the German Open RE
Also in 2023 the German RoboCup SPL teams came together on a long weekend called GORE (German Open Replacement Event) in Hamburg.
