On the student conference exec(ut) Arnoud Visser have given a presentation on rescue robots. The  Arnoud was already spotted in the aftermovie:      

On Tuesday April 2nd, the Faculty’s Social Committee will display the Science Fiction movie Ex Machina. After the movie Arnoud Visser will give a short presentation of what we can really expect in the future of the combination of AI and Robotics, followed by a discussion on the implications.

This year the students could follow the Behavior-Based Robotics lectures at their own leasure, because they were recorded on forehand. See for the rational of this approach the interview by our Teaching and Learning Centre. The lectures themselves are publicly available at this Youtube channel.

The Dutch Nao Team is qualified as one of the 24 teams worldwide to compete in the RoboCup Soccer Standard  Platform League. The list of competitors can be found at the RoboCup website.
